At the United World Congress of Diplomats (UN-WCD), our Special Envoys represent the heart of our diplomatic engagement strategy across the globe. These seasoned leaders, strategically appointed from diverse professional and geopolitical backgrounds, drive our commitment to uniting the world through diplomacy, advocacy, and transformative action.

Each Special Envoy heads a mission aligned with a key global institution, regional body, or thematic priority. Through these envoy-led missions, the UN-WCD fosters strategic partnerships, facilitates international cooperation, and amplifies diplomatic voices in support of peacebuilding, development, and multilateral progress.

Our Envoys Serve Across the Following Missions:

  • Special Envoy to the African Union
    Responsible for aligning the Congress’s diplomatic programs with the AU’s Agenda 2063, engaging with African institutions and leaders, and supporting continental integration efforts.

  • Special Envoy to ECOWAS
    Engages West African states and ECOWAS organs to promote regional peace, security, youth engagement, and economic transformation.

  • African Youth Envoy
    Advocates for the empowerment, participation, and development of Africa’s young population in diplomacy, leadership, and entrepreneurship across the continent and the diaspora.

  • Special Envoy to the United Nations
    Represents the UN-WCD in global UN forums, working to align Congress activities with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and fostering collaboration with UN agencies and missions worldwide.

  • Special Envoy to the European Union
    Coordinates diplomatic efforts with EU institutions, promoting mutual interests in global peace, cultural diplomacy, environmental sustainability, and innovation.

  • Special Envoy to the Americas
    Oversees strategic relations across North, Central, and South America, working to deepen dialogue on trade, governance, democracy, and social development.

  • Special Envoy to Asia and the Pacific
    Leads diplomatic ties with Asian governments, regional organizations, and think tanks to drive partnerships in technology, education, and sustainable development.

  • Special Envoy to the Arab League and Middle East Affairs
    Navigates complex regional dynamics to promote peace diplomacy, cultural exchange, and collaborative development in the Arab region.

  • Special Envoy to Global Faith and Intercultural Dialogue
    Promotes understanding, tolerance, and interfaith engagement as tools for diplomacy and global harmony.

  • Special Envoy for Climate Diplomacy and Environmental Affairs
    Leads advocacy and action on climate justice, clean energy, and resilience, representing UN-WCD’s voice in environmental summits and alliances.

  • Special Envoy for Women, Peace, and Inclusive Development
    Focuses on gender equity in peacebuilding, leadership, and economic empowerment, championing the voices of women in global diplomacy.

  • Special Envoy for Diaspora Engagement and Global Mobilization
    Works to connect and mobilize Africans and other diaspora communities in global development, investment, and cultural promotion initiatives.
